60 mln Da Nang tourism area to welcome visitors this year
The first stage of a $60 million cultural tourism area at the foot of Ba Na Mountain in Da Nang will be completed by the end of this year, according to the investor.
Tran Minh Son, director of Globe Joint Stock Co., also the project investor, said Sunday that the development would feature a 36-hole golf course, a cable car system, a 25-hectare lake, and a park with architecture representative of Vietnam, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and other Asian countries.
The telpher system would be the longest and highest in Asia with a length of 5,200 meters and height of 1,280 meters, he said.
The project has been designed with environment-friendly characteristics by French experts.
