The Stars of Kong: Skull Island Enjoy Traditional Vietnamese Dishes

While at rest, whether in the studio or at the hotel, the stars of the “Kong: Skull Island” are happy to take memorable photos with people and extremely enjoy traditional Vietnamese foods.

Today is the last filming days of blockbuster Kong: Skull Island in Quang Binh. It is drizzling and slightly cold in Chuot Rat (Tan Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district), one of the locations where "Kong: Skull Island" will be shot in Vietnam.

During these days, the stars of the new King Kong movie have visited a number of attractions in Phong Nha - Ke Bang and also do not forget to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine. They stay in different guesthouses in Phong Nha.
In the evening of 24 February, Phong Nha Lake House Hotel, the accommodation of the two actors Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson, was closed in order to serve the dinner for veteran cast. There are 20 people including the stars and director has come to enjoy this pure Vietnamese meal.
The hotel manager said that rice vermicelli with grilled meat, chicken cooked with fish sauce bowl, Chicken fried with citronella, chicken wing fried with fish sauce, grilled pork ribs, ginger lemon grass chicken , mango salad, and fried rolls were served during the meal.

"After dining on the meal, the film crew expressed their interest, and gave complement on delicious Vietnamese cuisine," the manager said. At the end of the exchange meeting, the hotelier suggested the film crew allowing the staff to take memorial photos and autographs.

"The guests gladly accepted the suggestion, they also comfortably take a number of photos with the staff and give them signature making them extremely excited," the manager said.

During 4 days staying in Quang Binh, making use of the time during the break, the actors had the tour guide of hotel take to famous tourist attractions like Phong Nha cave, and Tien Son cave, Paradise cave, Nuoc Mooc spring… Right after their arrival in Quang Bing and after completing some scenes of the film, they themselves hired a boat and bought tickets to visit Phong Nha cave.
"The actors were cautious with strangers but were very friendly with the staff. I am allowed to follow them but not to record video and take pictures, "a tour guide for the group said.
"The working schedule of the crew starts from very early to late night. Breakfast and lunch are served at the studio, so the crew just have dinner at the hotel and then quickly go to the bed "one staff said.
Phong Nha Farmstay is another accommodation chosen by the film crew. The manager said all the rooms had been reserved for the actors, and cameramen.

"In the evening, we also have a show of a foreign band so that the film crew could communicate, sing and dance with everyone," Ms. Le Thi Bich, the owner said.
At Easy Tiger hotel, the hotel manager, Nguyen Ngoc said that the film crew had contacted the hotel to reserve rooms several months in advance. They took along all living things, such as blanket, pillow ... and the hotel only served food, drinks and laundry.
The film crew was said to be polite, friendly with the staff. They also expressed satisfaction with the service.

The shooting of the Kong: Skull Island in Quang Binh is expected to finish on the afternoon of 25 February. Dozens of vehicles carrying equipment will leave Quang Binh for Ninh Binh right in the night. Meanwhile the actors will leave on the following morning.
On the morning of 22 February, the cast of blockbuster Kong: Skull Island arrived in Quang Binh by private jet. Right in this afternoon, the film was shot with the context of two actors escaping from a plane crash in the Yen Phu lake studio (Trung Hoa, Minh Hoa district). Then, they worked in the area of Chuot cave situated in the same commune. The helicopter was brought from the USA for the shooting of 7 great sights.
