Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival
On arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, we will be greeted and transfer to our hotel to check in. The rest of the day will be free at leisure. Overnight in a hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Angkor Wat Temple Tour (B, D)
After breakfast at hotel, we will explore the Angkor Temple complex, of which Angkor Wat is the main element that we will visit in the afternoon. We will start from the South Gate where giant carvings of gods and demons flank each side of the entrance. Here, we will explore the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace and Terrace of Leper King. We then move forward to the stone face carvings of the Bayon and temple walls covered in emerald-green moss intertwined with roots which many deem the most charming of all, Ta Prohm.
We then back to our hotel and have lunch on our own account. In the mid-afternoon, we will go back to the Angkor Wat and explore this architectural and artistic masterpiece of the mighty Khmer Empire. Sunset at Phnom Bakheng or Pre Rup paints the temple in an orange hue. Tonight will be accompanied with classical Apsara dancers depicting scenes from Khmer mythology.
Day 3: Banteay Srei – Great Lake (B, L)
This morning, we will be drive through the picturesque countryside to Bantaey Srei and Bantaey Samre, which many consider Bantaey Srei to be the nicest temple among the complex. We then continue to visit Cambodia Landmine Museum, getting to know about the the recent civil war in Cambodia was ended 1998.
After lunch in a local restaurant, we enjoy the Tonle Sap Lake, Asia's largest inland lake also the biggest harvest fresh water fish in the world. We will have chance to interact with the friendly local people and lovely children as well as stopping at school , hospital , church, fishing farm, crocodile farm, souvenir shop. We finish our day with a visit to the Les Artisan D'Angkor to observe student learning of art carving before our car takes us back to the hotel for overnight accommodation.
Day 4: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B)
Time will be free until our car arrives to take us to the airport for a morning flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival, we will be met and transfer to our hotel for check in. We then visit Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum, with many pre & post Angkor artifacts.
In the afternoon, we will visit the notorious Tuol Sleng Museum & Choeung Ek Killing Field. This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. We will also have some time to explore the Russian Market with several items on sales. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 5: Phnom Penh City Tour (B)
After breakfast at hotel, we will experience a quirky form of local transport known as the Motoremork or Tuk Tuk, to Koh Darchh Island with eye view of local people daily life along the banks. Stroll around the village, we will visit a community craft workshop, fishing and farming. After perusing these fine items, have a free time stretching out on a hammock under the thatched roof of a water bungalow. In the late afternoon, we will be back to Phnom Penh for overnight accommodating.
Day 6: Phnom Penh Departure (B)
Free time until our car arrives to takes us to the airport in good time for departure flight. Tour ends
