Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake
Begins with an early morning meetup with your tour guide and group in Hanoi. From there, you'll set off for Ba Be National Park, where you'll be mesmerized by the picturesque landscapes and charming rural villages along the way. A delightful traditional Vietnamese lunch awaits you at a local restaurant during the journey. As you arrive at Ba Be Lake, the largest natural lake in Vietnam, you'll be greeted by the beauty of lush forests and majestic limestone mountains. After checking into your comfortable accommodation, take a moment to relax and soak in the serene surroundings.
In the late afternoon, a tranquil boat trip on Ba Be Lake will reveal the crystal-clear waters, enchanting limestone caves, and the fascinating Puong Cave. Return to your lodging for a dinner showcasing delectable regional dishes, and the evening is yours to enjoy stargazing or engaging in a cultural exchange with local ethnic communities.
Day 2: Ba Be Lake - Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall
The journey continues as you head towards Cao Bang, known for its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture. Along the way, a visit to the awe-inspiring Nguom Ngao Cave, adorned with remarkable stalactites and stalagmites, awaits you. The highlight of the day is Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of Vietnam's most majestic waterfalls, situated on the border with China. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the awe-inspiring scenery surrounding Ban Gioc Waterfall. A bamboo raft ride on the Quay Son River will provide an up-close encounter with the cascading falls and the refreshing mist. Later in the afternoon, return to Cao Bang and check-in to your accommodation, where an evening of traditional dance performances and a scrumptious dinner of local specialties awaits.
Day 3: Cao Bang - Hanoi
