Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Welcome upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be welcome by a local tour guide and driver, then transfer to the hotel for check-in and repose. In the late afternoon, enjoy a 1-hour Water Puppet show before having dinner at a fine local restaurant in town. After dinner, you are free for shopping in the Old Market. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel then, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, The Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda. Then head to the Temple of Literature to see the first University of Vietnam. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, travel to The Museum of Ethnology to see images of 54 ethnics of Vietnam. Before back to the hotel, stop at Westlake Area to relax on one of the best streets in Hanoi with lakes around. Dinner at a local restaurant and free time in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Perfume Pagoda (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Perfume Pagoda to take the sampan trip along the Yen River. This is a wonderful time to relax with river water, mountains surroundings and especially the fresh atmosphere. After the boat trip, take the cable car to the top of the mountain where you will go down the Huong Cave. Lunch at a local restaurant then returns to Hanoi at around 6 PM. Dinner and relax in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, then depart to Halong Bay. After arrival at the pier in the middle of the day, check in the boat and have lunch. Enjoy the view of the Bay with stalactites and stalagmite cave within 4 hours then go back to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Dinner and free time for shopping around. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi Departure (B)
After breakfast, you are free for last-minute shopping then transfer back to the airport for our departure flight. Trip ends. See you again in the next Vietnam tour packages.
