FULL ITINERARY
Morning
Welcome on arrival by our guide & driver at Phu My Port and we then transfer to Ho Chi Minh City to kick off your city tour.
The very first attraction we pay a visit to is the War Remnant Museum, once known as the “Museum of American War Crime”, which has been displaying remnants of the American phase of the Vietnam War since 1975 – right after the war. It is also recognized to be one of 61 “museums for peace” by the United Nations. We will have a chance to deeply understand the cruelty of the war and the pains it left. It is a practical lesson about Vietnamese heroic history that all tourists should come, see and think about.
Continue our Ho Chi Minh City tour to Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral established by French colonists. The cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. Following the French conquest of Cochinchina and Saigon, the Cathedral established a community and religious services for French colonialists. After that, move to the iconic sign of the city - the Central Post Office which is a beautiful piece of art. Feast on a delicious Vietnamese-style lunch at a good restaurant.
Afternoon
Leave for China Town is labeled as the biggest commercial center of Chinese in Viet Nam. For hundreds of years, the charming Chinatown has enriched the city’s culture. Journey to Giac Lam Pagoda - believed as one of the oldest pagodas in Ho Chi Minh City. You will have a chance to get to know about the spiritual life and religious practices of the Vietnamese.
Later we walk around Ben Thanh Market - the large market place in the downtown area of Ho Chi Minh City. The market is one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon, popular with tourists seeking local handicrafts, textiles, ao dai, and souvenirs, as well as local cuisine.
