Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Welcome upon arrival by local tour guide & driver, then transfer to hotel. On the way, stop at the Westlake area to get nice sunset view on the largest lake of Hanoi, and enjoy Vietnamese coffee in the coffee shop on the lake bank. After checking in, enjoy your dinner at a fine restaurant in town. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L, D)
Today, visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you will spend a couple of hours visiting Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam's first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education. Lunch will be at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.
In the afternoon, travel to Hanoi Museum of Ethnology to have a closer look at the local lifestyle, tradition, and cultures of Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples or the infamous Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Next, pass by the hidden Tran Phu train track and enjoy a cup of coffee here to feel the steady lifestyle of local people here which differ with the bustle streets outside. Later this afternoon, join in a 1-hour cyclo tour of the French-inspired “Old Quarter”.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Halong Bay is one of Vietnam's World Natural Heritage sites and a place that not be missed when visiting Vietnam. Within 4 hours boating around the thousands of islands and islets, you will discover the entire heritage site by enjoying on a boat and walking into the cave. Following your breakfast at the hotel, travel northward to Halong city where you are welcome on the boat by crew team. You will have a delicious seafood lunch on the boat. After the boat trip, head back to Hanoi. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi Departure (B)
Free at leisure before transferring back to the airport for our flight home. Trip ends. See you on the next Vietnam vacation package with us!
