Visit Tram Chim, you will see the lush green cajuput forest extending in a huge area and listen to a bird singing, wingspan soaring skyward.
Tram Chim National Park is an area of 7,612 hectares, located in 5 communes: Tan Cong Sinh , Phu Duc, Phu Tho, Phu Thanh, Phu Hiep and Tram Chim Town, Tam Nong district, Dong Thap province.
It has a beautiful natural landscape with a rich ecosystem with more than 130 species of plants.
This is also the habitat of hundreds of species of vertebrates, dozens of species of fishes and more than 198 species of birds, estimated accounting for quarter of all avian species found in Vietnam.
In the flood season, the birds flourish rapidly here.

Many rare birds in the world chose this place good land for shelter as the Cairina scutulata , Vanellus cinereus, especially pelecanus (Pelican) and Grus antigone (Sarus Crane)
If you want to witness the amazing spectacle of Sarus Crane fly to Tram Chim to advoid cold weather, you can come here in December to early May.
Currently, Tram Chim National Park is in the state invest, upgrade and expand to become the museum of natural, eco-tourism center.
