The Festival occurs over the 10th-13th days of the 1st lunar month. It is celebrated in commemoration of the legendary hero Chu Dong Tu and his wife Tien Dung who extended their assistance to the village inhabitants. On that day, there are rituals and popular performances and activities, such as incense offerings, the unicorn dance, the traditional "con di danh bong" dance, the fairy dance, traditional wrestling, cock fighting, and catching ducks in a pond. The key element of the festival is the procession on the morning of the 10th day: a boat adorned with dragons goes to take clean water from the middle of the river for Tien Dung's ablutions. The palanquin of the Saint couple is accompanied by another carrying their sacred belongings: a conical hat and a miraculous stick. The convoy passes by lakes, places where Chu Dong Tu and his wife once lived around the village and then returns to the temple of Da Trach.
