Weaving Competition Festival is the traditional festival in Thi Cam Village (Hanoi). A bamboo tent with 10 looms is set up on an islet in the middle of the village pond Ten young women take part in a weaving competition while spectators stand around the pond encouraging them, Prizes are awarded to the most beautiful piece of material which is woven the most quickly.
