Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
Welcome upon arrival by Viet Vision Travel's tour guide and driver at the outside of the security gate, transfer to the hotel in the city center. Relax after a long flight journey then enjoy our welcome dinner on the Saigon River cruise. Tonight, parents and children can explore the Ben Thanh night market for the first idea of beautiful Saigon or just relax at the hotel. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2: Saigon City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
Based on seasons, visit Cu Chi Tunnels in the morning and Saigon city in the afternoon or via verse. There are two seasons in a year and Cu Chi Tunnels is recommended to visit first due to the rainy season (from May to Oct).
Cu Chi Tunnel is 70 km far from Saigon, which is a tourist destination nowadays. This is a tunnel system that heroic Southern Vietnamese people built during the French and American war to protect and fight against enemies. After more than one hour of driving, get there and enjoy a half hour seeing the video about its history and how to explore this famous area. With an expert tour guide, follow some parts of the tunnels which tourists are permitted to enter; enjoy some special food that was cooked for old soldiers and people during wars. They are cassava and tea…. We can also take photos with many historical models in the Cu Chi Tunnel system.
Back to Saigon for lunch at Vietnamese-style restaurant or kids' favorite food (KFC, Italian food…) and take an afternoon tour in Saigon. Afterward, you will visit the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace during the Old South Vietnam Government; the War Remnant Museum with various artifacts, photographs & picture documents of the war. Then stop at the Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office to catch our beautiful and memorable photos of our trip and spend time playing interesting outdoor activities with your children at Suoi Tien Amusement Park. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B, L)
Today, travel to the heart of Mekong Delta to visit Cai Be colorful floating market. The trip should be started at 7.00 AM so the family can be at the floating market when it's busiest. This is a wholesale floating market in Mekong Delta where the big boats sell and the smaller boats buy. The products will be carried to all the villages in Mekong Delta on smaller boats. The local people here sell and buy in peace, very friendly and close. The boat will cruise us among local barges of fruits and vegetables. You can buy anything you like with the help of a tour guide or just "eye" shopping around. There are a hundred opportunities for photos.
Aftermarket, the rowing boat will take the family deeper into the small canals where we come closer to local life. You have seasonal fruits while enjoying traditional music performances, lunch at the local home, and bike along the village paths. Bid farewell to villages, we cruise back to Vinh Long city where our friendly driver brings us back to Ho Chi Minh City. Tonight, the family is free from favorite activities. Overnight in Saigon
Central Vietnam Family Vacation - 3 Days
Day 4: Saigon – Fly to Nha Trang (B)
Today we leave busy Saigon city for one of the best beach cities in Vietnam. Nha Trang with Cam Ranh Bay is one of the best Bay in the world. There will be a blue sky, white sand, and honey sun in this tourist city that makes the family's time relaxing. Arriving in Nha Trang after one hour flight, you are welcome on arrival by a local tour guide and driver then transfer to Vinpearl Land and spend the last time of the day swimming and playing water-based activities there. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 5: Nha Trang – Island & Snorkeling Tour (B, L)
This morning, take a private wooden boat to some islands where we do water activities such as snorkeling, and swimming….Firstly stop at Mieu Island to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium to see the small ocean with various sea species. Later, we boat Mun Island to do snorkeling with an expert. Children can keep stay at the beach if they can't join. There are some water sports that families can join at Mot Island, Tranh Beach Island or others smaller. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch and visit a fishing village on the way back. Tour ends at 4h00pm. Back to the hotel, relax, and overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang - Hanoi (B)
In the morning, the family can try some hours at Thap Ba mud Spa to get an experience of very special relaxing services in this beach city. It's good for the skin and helps in some ways. Or you can only relax at the beach until the time to transfer to the airport to take a two-hour flight to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam with a deep history. Hanoi city is very elegant but busy nowadays. Awaiting tour guide and driver will welcome family and drive you to the center where we check in hotel and relax. On the way, stop at the West Lake area to get sunset (if any) and enjoy a cup of coffee, and fruit shakes…in the best area in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Northern Vietnam Family Vacation - 4 Days
Day 7: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
Today, explore Hanoi with a classic city tour for the full day from 8.00 am to 7.30 pm upon the water puppet show time. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum first where it only opens in the morning and other sites around such as Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, His house on stilt, Ho Chi Minh's fishing pond, and Ho Chi Minh Museum. You can skip the museum if we are not really interested in it. After this place, take a short drive to the next vestige of the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam which is now a temple. The Vietnamese students who wish to be here one time in their student life to praise for their future success. You may also meet and contact students who come here for their last year of university photo shoots….
After our lunch at a local restaurant, keep on our journey to the outskirt of Hanoi to visit the Ethnology museum where you can see all 54 ethnic minorities of Vietnam. The museum arrangement will lead you from this minority to another, from Delta to the mountain; and we will have ideas of the people, culture, and character of this country. Back to the city, experience Hanoi's daily life on a cyclo tour. Each cyclo driver will take one member of the family, one follows one along the old streets. Then stop in front of the Water Puppet Theater for our one hour watching the traditional art performance. Tonight, the family can find their favorite food at various restaurants in the Old Quarter and walk to the night market if time is the weekend. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Today, travel Northeast of Hanoi to Halong Bay where you will spend almost your time on the deluxe junk cruise. It takes you around 3-hour driving then catch the pier in the middle day. It's not a long and tiring journey as the driver will stop you at a workshop on the way. Welcome upon arrival by the crew team, your luggage will be checked in by them and tenders will sail us to the junk cruise. Joining the briefing about safety on board, then check in and have delicious lunch while cruising deeper into the World Natural Heritage Bay.
In the afternoon, join all activities on the cruise with the tour guide as scheduled such as kayaking, visiting the cave, swimming (if weather permits), climbing to the island to get a panorama of the Bay, or just lazily relaxing on the sundeck or enjoy spa services available on cruise….Enjoy fresh seafood dinner on board and stay overnight on the tranquil Bay of Halong.
Note: Children can share the kayak with parents or tour guide. It's safe with a light kayak and life jackets.
Day 9: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Sunrise time on Halong Bay is a "should-not-be-missed" time. Try to get up early, go up to the sundeck and join a Tai Chi session with the Master or just relax on the chair, and enjoy a cup of morning coffee, and tea to see the sunrise and fresh Halong Bay. After that, enjoy breakfast and join the activities that the tour guide informs us about during breakfast time. Check out at about 10 AM and take the luggage out of cabins so the crew team will bring them to the pier where our awaiting vehicle and tour guide are ready to welcome the family back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at approximately 5.00 pm. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi Departure (B)
Today, depart to the airport at the appointed time with tour guide before then take the flight to home. Vietnam travels with kids itinerary 10 days ends. See you again in the next Vietnam tour packages.
