Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
Welcome upon arrival by local tour guide & driver, you will transfer to hotel in the center city. Relax for the rest of the day and enjoy welcome dinner at a fine local restaurant in town.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
This morning, we visit the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, we will visit the War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting the second Indochina war. Before our lunch, we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Old Post Office.
After lunch, we will take a bus trip to Cu Chi Tunnels, a Viet Cong Stronghold during the American War between 1965 and 1975. First constructed in 1948, during the French Resistance War, the tunnels were expanded by the Viet Cong, with the help of the local people, into a complex underground network stretching over 250 km. A visit to this place will offer us an insight into the war when Vietnamese determination and loyalty to their country overcame the hardships of the times and eventually brought the war to an end. Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B, L)
The morning starts from the hotel at 8 AM, leaving Ho Chi Minh City, travels to Cai Be, we drive for about 2,5 hours. Vivid farming activities and the riverine life of the Mekong Delta can be seen en route. Take a boat trip from Cai Be along the mighty Mekong River and its tributaries to view the riverine of local people who work and play on the waterways of the Mekong Delta. It would be amiss if we do not visit the floating market at Cai Be, and a family-run workshop making popcorn, pop-rice, and rice paper. A taste of these local products with green tea brings us a great feeling of tropical weather.
Lunch will be set up in a local house located on an island, which is a fertile place for different fruits and trees. After lunch, take a short nap in a hammock under the shady garden or we also can do cycling along the village paths to enjoy the beauty of the countryside. Lastly, the cruise will transfer us to Vinh Long city where we take our vehicle to Can Tho – the heart of the Mekong Delta. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 4: Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) – Hoi An (B)
Early morning today, we will take the boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market with the busy sense right at the time. This is the biggest floating market in Mekong Delta where we can see the daily life and local people selling their products on boats. After that, we are back to the hotel for breakfast & relaxation by the pool of the hotel. We transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city in the afternoon to take the flight to Da Nang where the local tour guide and driver are waiting and taking us to Hoi An after that. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An Walking Tour (B)
From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port. Today, we have a morning walking tour in Hoi An town – one of the World Culture Heritages of Vietnam. This quaint riverside town still boasts a wealth of century's old traditional architecture. The influences of several Asian cultures can be seen in old houses and waterside buildings. It is also famous as a place to be instantly created inexpensive tailored outfits. The remainder of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An – Farming & Fishing Life Eco Tour (B, L)
This morning, we can choose a bus or bike to cycle to a local farming village to join the daily work life of local farmers – hoeing and soil, watering veggies at an organic herb garden, riding water buffalo in the field, and enjoying the freshest air of the countryside beauty. After that, board the Hoi An Eco-tour boat and cruise to the mouth of the river where it meets the Cua Dai Sea.
We also learn and try our hand at local traditional fishing techniques using round and cast nets, and learn to paddle the strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats. Explore the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war and hear of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers on both sides. Have relaxed fun catching beautiful purple crabs on a bamboo basket boat. After visiting a local water coconut palm village, we take a walk around the village and have some tea and snack with local talks… Back on board our Hoi An Eco-tour boat, enjoy our lunch and a cold beer or soft drink boat, then back to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 7: Hoi An - Hue (B)
After breakfast today, we head northward to Hue which is known as an ancient Capital city with many original historical vestiges. There are more than 100 architectural works to be extremely reflected in the life of Emperors and Mandarins under Nguyen's reign. Situated in the middle of hills on the Southern Bank of Perfume River are very beautiful tombs of Nguyen Kings. On the way, we stop to visit the Marble Mountains and Lang Co beach. In the afternoon, we visit the Hue Citadel, the Forbidden Purple City - home of Vietnam's last royal dynasty, and the bustling Dong Ba market to see its abundance of fresh produce. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue City Tour (B, L)
Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded by many tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. We start this tour of the Emperor's residence with a short drive into the surrounding countryside to see the impressive King Minh Mang's tomb & King Khai Dinh's Tomb, the final resting place of the Emperors.
A delicious vegetarian lunch will be served at a local Buddhist Monastery. After lunch, we drive back to town to take the half-day bike to Thanh Toan Bridge to see old bridge was great to view the countryside with yellow rice and some of the kids took care of small ducks and chickens too. It's a really experiencing time. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue - Hanoi (B)
We depart Hue today to Hanoi where we are welcomed by a local tour guide and driver. Hanoi is the colonial capital city, famous for tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes, and classic pagodas and temples. In the afternoon we will explore Hanoi, from the fascinating Old Quarter to hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, lacquerware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects, and more. We can also shop for impressive modern art in the city's many galleries after visiting Hanoi's main cultural attractions, including the Fine Arts Museum and the Temple of Literature. We will stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
This morning we leave Hanoi by private vehicle at 8:30 a.m., arriving at the jetty in Halong Bay around 12:30 p.m. We will set off on a deluxe cruise and enjoy a welcome drink after check-in. A fresh seafood lunch will be served at 1 p.m. At that time, we begin a cruise through mystic Halong Bay, to see the amazing karsts and their many different formations. We will also see Monster's face Islet, But Moc islet, Cap De islet, Trong (Drum) Cave, Trinh Nu Cave, and a floating fishing village, with its unique way of life.
Then, we head to Luon Cave and enjoy swimming, sunbathing at Ti Top beach, or climbing the peak of the mountain for a breath-taking panoramic view of Halong Bay. We will enjoy another seafood feast for dinner, and for the night owls, there is an option of night fishing before an overnight stay aboard.
Day 11: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L)
Rising to the sound of the bay waters, we will have time for an early morning dip, followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, we can relax while taking in the breathtaking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay. After breakfast, we explore Sung Sot Cave, swim, and relax, and then the cruise takes us back to the jetty while brunch is served. We transfer back to Hanoi in the afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12: Departure Hanoi (B)
Free at leisure for last-minute shopping before transferring back to the airport for our flight home. Vietnam family holiday package 12 days ends.
