Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Cat Ba Island (L)
In the morning, depart Hanoi to start our 2-day Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island tour by taking a 3-hour drive to Halong City. On the way, stop to take some pictures of Vietnamese farming and refreshments in the Red River Delta.
Upon arriving in Halong City at noon, embark on the emerald water of Halong Bay to explore the Bay with thousands of limestone mountains while enjoying a fresh seafood lunch on boat. On the sailing to impressive islands, stop at crystal water and calm area for swimming and kayaking.
In the late afternoon, arrive in Cat Ba Island to prepare for tomorrow's itinerary. You are transferred from the wharf to the hotel by our company bus. After hotel check-in, you are free at leisure till time to enjoy our dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Cat Ba Island Discovery – Hai Phong – Hanoi (B, L)
After our breakfast at the hotel, follow your guide to Cat Ba National Park. On the way there, you will have a short break by visiting the Military Hospital cave that was used by the North Vietnamese Army during the American war. Following is a short trek in a national park to enjoy a panoramic view jungle.
Afterward, return to Cat Ba town, lunch before boarding the one-hour ferry service back to Vietnam’s largest seaport and third largest city of Hai Phong. Upon arrival in Hai Phong where our vehicle waiting for transferring you back to Hanoi. Finish off our 2-day Cat Ba - Halong Bay tour at the hotel in Hanoi. See you in the next Vietnam vacation!
