DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY - CAI BE TOWN – CAI THIA – SA DEC (L, D)
This morning we will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, then we will drive to Vinh Long.
We will arrival in Cai Be town at around 10:30 Am, embark on Le Cochinchine with a welcome drink while Le Cochinchine set sails toward Sadec, a nice and quiet town overlooking Mekong river while lunch is served on boat.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Cao Dai Temple, local market and ancient house Huynh Thuy Le - the Chinese Lover of Marguerite Duras. We then take a pleasant country side bike ride along the river to visit flower villages and meet with local people. Back on board, Le Cochinchine sails down Mekong River toward My Thuan. Enjoy the aperitif on sundeck and have foot massage. Tonight we will have dinner and overnight on Le Cochinchine Cruise.
DAY 2: MY THUAN – CAI BE TOWN – HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L)
Rising up early for another nice day we contemplate sunrise while having breakfast on board. We take a morning cycling trip along the banks of Mekong River to explore evergreen vegetation browsing several verdant villages. Visit of the bonsais gardens and orchards, local houses and ample opportunity meet with people and get insight into Delta life. We will back to boat and crossing the Mekong River to Cai Be and enjoy welcome back drink.
Check out Le Cochinchine before 12:00, we will be transferred to Cai Be dock, having lunch in the local restaurant and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. We will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. Trip end.
