Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi (D)
Upon our arrival, we will be greeted by our tour guide and transferred to the hotel. Tonight we have a chance to see the unique water puppet performance, after that, we will have a welcome dinner at a restaurant serving fine Vietnamese cuisine. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Bai Tu Long Bay – Cap La Island – Cong Do (B, L, D)
07.30 – 8.30: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi, and transfer you to Halong International Cruise Port, Bai Tu Long Bay (if using our shuttle bus)
12.15: Arrival at, Halong International Cruise Port, you have a short time to relax before embarking on one of the Cruise Junk Boat
12.30: Transfer to Cruise Junk Boat by tender (5 -10 minutes)
12.45: Warmest welcome drinks, listen to safety briefing then check in your cabin
13.00: Having delicious Vietnamese Set Menu whistle our boat cruising leisurely to the heart of Bai Tu Long Bay, Cap La area
15.30: Kayaking to discover the most breathtaking natural scenery of limestone islands and islets, Swimming, Sunbathing, and Relaxing
17.30: Sunset party on the Sundeck while the boat is cruising to the Cong Do area to anchor overnight (Happy Hour offer from 5h30pm- 7h30pm)
18.30: Taking part in the cooking class: Learning how to cook traditional Vietnamese Cuisines
19.30: Having sumptuous BBQ dinner on the Sundeck (if it’s not raining)
21.00: Free time to relax on the Sundeck or try your luck with squid fishing. (Board games are also available)
Day 3: Cong Do – Vung Vieng Fishing Village
Rising to the tranquil beauty of Halong Bay, we have time for an early morning dip followed by a light breakfast from 06.30 Wake up early in the morning for Tai Chi exercise at 07.00 Have light breakfast with Western styles (+ Vietnamese Pho available) while the boat cruising toward the most beautiful fishing village in Ha Long Bay 07.45 Transfer to Vung Vieng Fishing Village by tender 08.00 Riding on the rowing boat (rowed by the fisherman) to explore the Vung Vieng fishing village and learn about the local fishing life 09:00 Back to the main boat for the cruising back to the harbor by different route 10.30 Having lunch onboard (Fusion style) 12.00 Disembark in Hon Gai Harbor for the trip to Ninh Binh.
Say goodbye to the World Natural Heritage and leave for Ninh Binh town with Hoa Lu ancient Capital and Marvelous Tam Coc. Arrive in Ninh Binh. We check in the hotel and relax in a quiet town in the south of Hanoi. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 4: Tam Coc - Hoa Lu - Hanoi (B, L)
This morning we start our trip by cycling to visit Bich Dong Pagoda. After that we cycle back to Tam Coc and take the sampan along the Ngo Dong River to explore Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. We sail back to the Wharf and enjoy our lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Hoa Lu used to be the site of the 10th century capital of Vietnam before Hanoi took the leading role in the 11th century. Features of the area are the many beautiful, rural villages and the ancient capital of Hoa Lu with King Dinh and King Le temples dedicated to these two famous Vietnamese heroes. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - City tour - Departure (B)
At 8.00 we start a half-day city tour of Vietnam's capital city. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, old colonial architecture, pretty lakes, and ancient temples. The city tour will comprise well-known sights such as the Ho Chi Minh complex, the Temple of Literature, and the Lake of the Restored Sword. A cyclo tour in the old quarter will complete our trip to Hanoi. After that, we will be transferred to Noi Bai airport for the onward flight. See you again in the next Vietnam tour packages.
Notes: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum opening time: Open from Tuesday to Thursday and on weekends from 8 am to 11 pm. Closed on Mondays and Fridays. The mausoleum is closed for two months of the year, usually, October and November, when Ho Chi Minh’s body is maintenance.
