Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival
Transfer via: International flight – Your arrangement.
On your arrival in Phnom Penh you will be met by our representative at your arrival point. You will then transfer to your hotel for check in. Then you have free time to explore Phnom Penh on your own by local transport (moto or tuk-tuk). Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 2: Phnom Penh City Tours (B/L/D)
Sites visited: Toul Sleng Museum, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Wat Phnom and National Museum.
After breakfast at the hotel, you visit Toul Sleng Museum, the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and Wat Phnom. In the afternoon you will see the National Museum with its many ancient Angkor artifacts, and go shopping at the Central Market and the famous Russian Market. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 3: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap Angkor Temples (B/L/D)
Transfer via: Domestic flight – Our arrangement.
After breakfast, take a short flight to Siem Reap, the land of Angkor. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your hotel for check in. Then exploring the magnificent wonders of the world of Angkor Wat will take all afternoon. In the evening you can enjoy the spectacular sunset from the hilltop temple of Phnom Bakheng.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 4: Siem Reap Angkor Temples –Floating Village (B/L/D)
Sites Visited: Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, the Terraces of the Elephants, the Leper king, Ta Phrom, Tonle Sap Lake.
After breakfast, it’s off to explore other temples. Today we visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom - The South gate, Bayon, Baphuon, the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper king. Next it’s on to one of the most phographed temples of Angkor, the jungle temple of Ta Phrom, with is dramatic overgrowth of trees and vines. In the afternoon we take a boat trip to see the amazing floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 5: Siem Reap Angkor, Arts & Crafts, Silk Farm (B/L/D)
Sites visited: Angkor Wat , Artisan D’angkor, Angkor Silk Farm, Banteay Srei Temple, Bantey Samre.
For those who like to watch the sunrise, today is your chance to get up early and watch the sun come up over Angkor Wat. After breakfast at the hotel, we visit Artisan D’angkor to see crafters and artisans at work, and browse the arts and crafts shop. Then it’s on to the Angkor Silk Farm and more shopping in support of the local community.
In the afternoon, we drive out through the idyllic countryside to visit the Banteay Srei Temple and Bantey Samre. The name Banteay Srei means “Citadel of women” and it is constructed of pink sandstone with outstanding, ornate stone carvings. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 6: Siem Reap Free Day (B/L/D)
Breakfast in the hotel, and then you have a free day for leisure activities, or to take one the many optional tours available. Overnight in Siem Reap hotel.
Day 7: Siem Reap Departure (B)
Transfer via: International flight – Your arrangement.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will have free time until time for transfer to your departure point.
