Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, Viet Vision Travel's guide and the private luxury car will greet you with a beautiful bunch of flowers and take you to the hotel. Check-in at Sheraton Hotel. A deluxe room with Roses, Candles, Chocolate, and a bottle of wine will be ready for your romantic and cozy stay at the hotel. In the afternoon, the guide will take you for the orientation walk in Hanoi Old Quarter before the beautiful welcome dinner for two in the Wild Lotus Restaurant, one of the nicest restaurants in the city.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
Today, spend a whole day discovering Hanoi – the peaceful city of green trees, and lakes with thousands of years of history and culture. In the morning, explore the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the symbol of the country that dedicates to the most famous hero of Vietnam. Visit Presidential Palace, his House on the stilts, and the One Pillar Pagoda then. After that, travel to the Temple of Literature, a central Culture and Education in Hanoi in the past, and Confucius.
After lunch, visit the Ethnology Museum – the most interesting museum in town about 54 ethnic minorities living in the country. After the interesting cyclo trip going around Hanoi Old Quarter, enjoy dinner before transferring to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai, continuing your honeymoon in Sapa. You will have a very romantic night on the two-berth compartment of Victoria Express, the most luxurious and comfortable train in Vietnam.
Day 3: Lao Cai - Sapa (B, L)
Arriving in Lao Cai early in the morning, you will be greeted by your guide and driver in the private car and take an hour's drive to Sapa – the town with four seasons in a day. Check in the Victoria Sapa hotel – a luxury and romantic hotel in Sapa. Located in a great location, you can admire the beauty of Sapa Town from the balcony of your deluxe room for the honeymoon. Enjoy breakfast in the very cozy atmosphere of Victoria hotel then take some time to refresh before joining us for an orientation walk around the Sapa town. It is said that you will find four seasons in a day here, but Sapa is normally seen in a thin mist. The private lunch for two people will be served at a nice local restaurant.
Tram Ton Pass, the highest section of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range, is compared to "The Gate to Heaven". Here you can behold the grandiose mountainous view of the Northwest of Vietnam, and enjoy the moment two of you in the spectacular nature. A photo of souvenirs should not be missed! On the way back to Sapa, stop to visit Silver waterfall, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the neighborhood. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa Villages Tour (B, L)
This morning, you will have the chance to explore the villages of different ethnic groups around Sapa. First, take the very beautiful drive from Sapa to the villages along the valley of Muong Hoa. The scenery is like a painting of Mother Nature with the fields on the terrace, the waterfall on the hillside, the green vegetation, a winding stream down below, and the air is so fresh and pure. Here and there appear some H' mong girls with a basket on their back, strolling to the market to trade their domestic products.
The first stop is at Y Linh Ho - the village of the H' mong people. It is said that H' mong was one of the first immigrants to this area and is famous for their hand weaving and terrace rice field in Sapa. After that, you will hike to Ta Van village of Giay people via the terraces and the trails, and experience the diversity of hill tribe people there. After that, you will be transferred back to Sapa by car for lunch. The rest of the day is on your own arrangements. You can choose to do some shopping in town, or you should not miss the visit up to Ham Rong Mountain where you can admire the view of Fansipan, "the rooftop of South East Asia" as well as the romantic view of the whole town in the mist. A cozy and romantic dinner will be a nice conclusion to the day. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 5: Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B)
The morning is at leisure. You can spend time at the resort or take a short hike in the area around the resort. After lunch at the resort, check out and drive back to Sapa. On the way, drive to Lao Cai, and you will take another escorted tour to Ta Phin - the village of the Red Dao. Dinner is in the local restaurant in Lao Cai. In the evening, take the overnight train back to Hanoi on the two-berth compartment of Victoria Express.
Day 6: Hanoi Free Day (B)
Arriving at Hanoi station in the early morning, your guide and private car will take you to visit the Flower Market - the unique market in Hanoi then take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake - where you can join hundreds of local people doing Tai chi there. Today you will have the whole day at leisure to enjoy your stay at the hotel, shopping in Hanoi Old Quarter, or together discover Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi - Halong Bay on Private Junk (B, L)
Today, leave Hanoi for departure to Halong Bay after 4 hour's driving. Upon arrival in Halong Bay, you are welcome on board. After check-in, enjoy a welcome drink & cruise briefing, it is time for short relaxation followed by lunch with traditional Vietnamese seafood while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, admiring the fascinating formations of the Bay. Enjoy swimming in the crystal water. Then explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave then take a short cruise to Hon Co island where you can enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach, swimming, or kayaking. Back to junk for relaxing. Have dinner and overnight on board.
Day 8: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B)
Greet the day with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay and view of Bay's landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air. Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic rowboat, meet the local people and pass through the floating school and fish farms. More time for swimming in the middle of the bay. Start cruising towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served. The boat arrives at the harbor by noon for a drive back to Hanoi. At leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi Departure (B)
There is no activity planned for today. Enjoy your free time until being transferred to the airport for your onward flight. Trip ends. See you again in the next Vietnam tour packages.
