Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Welcome upon arrival in Hanoi by local tour guide and driver, we then transfer to hotel. Relax for the rest of the day at the hotel or walk around the Hanoi Old Quarter. Tonight, enjoy the welcome dinner at a local restaurant in town. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
Hanoi is the capital city of Vietnam which is located in the Red Delta. This is a sacred land of Vietnam, chosen as the Capital in the 3rd century BC. Throughout the thousand years of its eventful history, marked by destruction, wars, and natural calamities, Hanoi still preserves many ancient architectural works including the Old Quarter and over 600 pagodas and temples. Hanoi also characteristically contains 18 beautiful lakes such as Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, and Truc Bach Lake..., which are the lungs of the city, with their surrounding gardens and trees providing a vital source of energy. Many traditional handicrafts are also practiced in Hanoi including bronze molding, silver carving, lacquer, and embroidery.
In the morning, meet the tour guide and driver at the hotel then visit several Hanoi attractions below. Enjoy lunch at K.O.T.O restaurant which was founded by Vietnamese Australian Jimmy Pham - a non-profit organization that is run by local children who Jimmy recruited from the streets, or enjoy Pho (chicken or beef noodle) at the local restaurant.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Overnight on Junk Cruise) (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Halong Bay today and sightsee the beauty of the Red River Delta along the way. Arrive at Tuan Chau Marian pier at midday, and take a tender to the cruise ship. Welcome on board with the crew team, relax with the welcome drink, check in, and then have lunch while the cruise is heading to Vung Vieng fishing village. There are 2 options for you to catch up to the floating village: taking a rowing bamboo boat or a kayak by yourselves. This floating village is with 65 local families, a floating school, and a floating information center.
The next cruise's schedule is traveling to Drum cave place where you can swim or relax on the sundeck to catch up the fantastic view of the Bay during the sunset or take part in the cooking demonstration that is guided by the cruise's skillful chef. Under the magnificent night sky, in a magic atmosphere in Halong Bay, a luxury buffet dinner is served with a variety of BBQ seafood at a nice stars terrace. At night time, a huge number of evening activities include film entertainment, board and card games, squid fishing, and karaoke singing… which you can take part in. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 4: Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Our first activities on the second day on the Halong Bay are greeting the dawn on the Bay, joining the Tai Chi class (if the weather permits or upon request) then having a light breakfast. After that, transfer to the day boat for our day tour to Lan Ha Bay, a small and peaceful bay. Sailing straight to Viet Hai village, a small village on the mountain far away from the center belongs to Cat Ba island, Hai Phong. You will be overwhelmed by the fantastic beauty of Lan Ha Bay which is different from hundreds of small beaches where you can come to swim, go kayaking... Take a bicycle through untouched forests and wildlife (4km) to the village that locates in a small valley of the mountain with a great landscape among rice fields, buffalos, and farmers; Trek into the core of Cat ba National Park to Bat cave and enjoy village scenery.
After seafood lunch, visit the Dark Cave by kayaking and swim near the boat in the new fresh environment with a special feeling among wide blue seawater. Evening activities included film entertainment in the dining room, board and card games, squid fishing, karaoke singing on Star bar in various languages: English, Spanish, Russian, French... Overnight on the cruise.
Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Hue (B, L)
If you are fans of Tai Chi, get up early this morning and take it with other passengers then have a light breakfast with tea and bakeries. The most interesting activity today is visiting the Amazing cave (Hang Sung Sot) which was discovered by the French in 1901. Opened for tourists in 1936, now it is a must-to-see and a symbol of the geology value of Halong. After the cave, check out and have brunch while the cruise back to the pier. The waiting vehicle will take you back to Hanoi airport for a short domestic flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the Ana Mandara Hue resort.
Day 6: Hue at Lapochine Beach Resort (B)
Ana Mandara Hue is Vietnam's premier pioneering luxury resort brand, developed the country's first beach resort in 1998. Set amidst almost three hectares of tropical parkland, Ana Mandara Hue fronts a 400-meter white sand beach. There is a total of 78 accommodations comprising deluxe rooms, duplex suites, beach villas, pool villas, and excellent local cuisine in the Vietnamese restaurant and La Cochinchine Spa. Day 8: Travel to Hoi An – Walking Tour (B, D)
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Hoi An where you will enjoy our half-day afternoon walking tour to the most famous attractions in town such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky old house, and Assembly Hall Of Fujian Chinese. Tonight we enjoy our romantic dinner at Full Moon restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An – Danang Departure (B)
In the morning, transfer to the airport to take your flight back home. Trip ends. See you again in the next Vietnam tour packages.
