Full Itinerary
Day 1: Saigon Arrival (D)
Arrival airport: Tan Son Nhat International Airport. On Saigon arrival, your family will be welcomed by a Viet Vision Travel guide and driver, then transfer to the hotel for check-in and take a short rest before we enjoy a welcome dinner at the fine local restaurant in town. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2: Saigon – Cu Chi by Speedboat – Visiting Cricket Farm on the way back by bus (B, L)
Start the day with a Saigon River Speedboat Cruise from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its network of deep tunnels that provided shelter and an effective source of infiltration for the Viet Cong during the later years of the Vietnam War. Upon arrival, watch the original film footage from the period, followed by a walk through the reserve to see the outstanding unique remnant of the Vietnam War and learn about the Viet Cong’s life. Saying goodbye to the historic land before having traditional Vietnamese lunch in the romantic riverside restaurant on the way back. After lunch, travel to the Cricket Farm by bus to explore the farming and cooking of crickets. Back to Ho Chi Minh city and overnight.
Day 3: Saigon – Vinh Long – Homestay (B, L, D)
Continue the journey to Vinh Long. Upon arrival in Vinh Sang Tourist Area, experience wearing a Ba Ba shirt-the clothing of a genuine farmer, a traditional costume worn by residents of the Southwest region. Take part in free activities with the locals involved in the program which catches crabs and snails. Immerse yourself in the cool Co Chien River at the river bathing area. Have lunch at Vinh Sang restaurant, located next to the romantic Co Chien River. Sightseeing with a local guide to Vinh Long's brick pottery kilns, witnessing the whole process of making bricks, including choosing clay, kneading the clay, putting it in molds, shaping it, and drying under the sun before putting raw bricks in kilns. Have dinner and overnight in Vinh Long homestay.
Day 4: Vinh Long – Can Tho (B, L)
Leave in the early morning and head to Can Tho. Discover the traditional Southern culture by traveling to Cai Rang Floating Market where people focus on trading and trading on the river.There is time to stroll around the Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery-the largest monastery in the Mekong Delta, bearing the architectural culture of the Ly and Tran dynasties with Buddha statues carved from Du Sam wood over 800 years old. Rest in the swinging hammocks at the fruit garden house.
Day 5: Can Tho – Fly to Phu Quoc (B)
After breakfast, take a car to Can Tho airport for flight procedures to Phu Quoc. Arrive in Phu Quoc, check into the hotel, and unwind. A full day of free activities on Phu Quoc Paradise Island, we can do swimming, sunbathe, scuba diving, bike along the long beach of the island, or just simply enjoy resort facilities.
Day 6: Phu Quoc – Special Island Tours – Hon Thom Cable car (B, L, D)
En route, visit Pearl Farm to learn about pearl production and the history of pearl farming on Phu Quoc Island. Later, head to Phu Quoc Prison, a prison built by the French colonialists to imprison Vietnamese people and known as Coconut Prison.Departing by cable car to Hon Thom Island, amazing sea views from the sky this afternoon. On this trip, you can experience the longest cable car pass through islands on over the world, and get a great view while enjoying the cable car. Traveling to Sao Beach, time for activities such as relaxing, swimming, and sunbathing. Back to the resort and have dinner.
Day 7: Grand World & Vin Safari (B)
Your visit this morning focuses on Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, the first semi-wild zoo by Southeast Asia's safari standards. Visit the rhinos, the white lion, the herd of zebras, and the wild animals, the Bengal Tiger and Indian Peacock at Vinpearl Safari in Phu Quoc to experience "locking people to release animals," witness animal performances, enjoy wild Zulu dances, and visit quite adorable animals and can be shot with uncommon animals that are only present at Vinpearl Safari in Phu Quoc.Take a leisurely walk through to check out the Venice River, Teddy Bear Museum, Bamboo Construction, and contemporary art performances and shows such as Essence of Vietnam and the Venice Show at Grand World Phu Quoc.
Day 8: Phu Quoc Free at the beach (B)
A full day of free activities at the beach and resort.
Day 9: Phu Quoc – Fly to Hanoi – Cyclo & Water Puppet Show (B, L, D)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, relax at the hotel and have lunch. After the afternoon, we enjoy a cyclo tour to see the daily life of Hanoians in the Old Quarter and 1 hour watching Water Puppet Show nearby Hoan Kiem Lake. Welcome dinner will be at a local restaurant in town. Enjoy the Water Puppet Show and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi City Tour by USA Jeep (B)
Take in the scenic vistas of Hanoi by USA jeep and stop at the must-see places of our beautiful city, such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Mecca of Vietnamese, Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, and the historical train street.This afternoon, visit the peaceful and alluring out-skirt villages surrounding West Lake and Truc Bach Lake to broaden your understanding of the contrast in life harmony between the city center and its outlying areas, as well as to experience Hanoi's hidden tranquility. Stop at different authentic restaurants, eateries, and food stalls to savor the tastiest of the tasty dishes of Hanoi, including family heirlooms and secret recipe dishes, local delicacies, and specialties.
Day 11: Hanoi – Moon Garden – Cycling to the village (B, L, D)
Time at leisure to soak up fresh air by cycling around the village. You will be rewarded along the route with peaceful scenes of immense fields and local markets. Overnight at Moon Garden Homestay.
Day 12: Moon Garden – Halong Bay – Overnight Cruise (B, L, D)
Leaving Hanoi for departure to Halong Bay. Arrival in Halong, followed by a short period of relaxation before lunch with traditional Vietnamese seafood while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay and admiring the Bay's fascinating formations. Enjoy swimming in the crystal water.Later, explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave then take a short cruise to Hon Co Island where you can enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach, swimming, or kayaking. Back to junk for relaxing and behold the magnificent sunset. Have dinner and an overnight cruise.
Day 13: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Start your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served. The morning cruise will take to through the Bay passing beautiful spots like Trong (Drum), Trinh Nu (Virgin) and Me Cung Caves, Coc Ngoi (Toad) Islet, etc. You will then explore the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot Cave) and return to the cruise for buffet brunch while the vessel cruises leisurely back to the harbor. Arrive at Bhaya Cafe in Ha Long City then return to Hanoi.
Day 14: Hanoi Departure (B)
Today feel free at leisure until our vehicle will transfer us back to the airport for our flight home. Trip ends. Goodbye and see you again in the next Vietnam tour package.
