FULL ITINERARY
You are welcome by Viet Vision Travel’s tour guide & driver. Meet your local driver and guide when you arrive at Chan May Port so they can take you to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, where you may relax in the lovely countryside. Take a boat ride along the Perfume River for a special date, passing the Thien Mu Pagoda, which represents Hue. Depart from Toa Kham Wharf. Following a leisurely stroll through Dong Ba market to gather the ingredients for our chief's cooking class, prepare the food while taking in the picturesque view from the exotic ancient, sacred monument with its classical architecture standing on the riverbank.
Return to the boat and take a sightseeing tour to Hue's Garden of Eden, Thuy Bieu Village. Take a leisurely stroll or a bike ride through the hamlet to see the classic homes. Explore the verdant vegetable garden, the ancient ancestral temple, and the friendly and giving residents. Then, quickly stroll through the rustic home to gain insights into the incense-making families laboring assiduously with joy and zeal; observe the joss paper-making family to learn more about a traditional Vietnamese practice and understand why they use joss paper, also known as ghost money; and stop by the paper-making families to catch a glimpse of the young local artists' rural landscape paintings.
After that, you'll prepare lunch on your own under the guidance of our chef when you return to Thuy Bieu restaurant for a culinary lesson. Learn how to make the Banh Khoai and Bang Ram It traditional Vietnamese cakes. Have lunch with the Hue-style foods you just prepared. The remainder of your journey is free for you to unwind by immersing your feet in medicinal herb water, a traditional therapeutic practice that is followed by a top-notch massage by locals, before returning to the port for your next voyage. Trip ends. Thanks for joining Vietnam shore excursion with us!
