Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang – Quan Ba (L, D)
The car and guide will pick you up at the hotel’s lobby in Hanoi, then transfer you to Ha Giang in North Vietnam. Along the way, spend a short visit to the ancient Sung Khanh Pagoda. At noon, arrive in Ha Giang and have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, reach Quan Ba heaven gate and Fairy Mountains where you can see the dreaming sceneries of this rustic mountainous area and behold the magnificent combinations of rivers, rice terraces, and villages of local ethnic minorities.
In the late afternoon, travel to a village of Dzao people where you can get a closer look at their unique tradition and interesting lifestyle. Take a short rest then have dinner of local specialties and distinctive corn liquor of Ha Giang. Overnight in homestay.
Day 2: Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Lung Cu – Dong Van (B, L, D)
After breakfast, move to Yen Minh and climb up the watchtower there to gain a panoramic view of the surrounding nature and rice terraces. Continue to visit the iconic destinations of Yen Minh before heading to Lung Cam village of Hmong People. Next, discover the palace of the king of Miao ethnic built in the early 20th century. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, reach Lung Cu flagpole – the northern pole of Vietnam. Visit Lo Lo Chai village of Lo Lo ethnic people before getting to Dong Van and visit Dong Van Karst Plateau. In the evening, you are free to explore Dong Van Old Street. Overnight in Dong Van.
Day 3: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Bac Quang (B, L, D)
Your breakfast today is the mouthwatering steamed rice roll of Dong Van. Later, travel to Ma Li Peng, one of the four greatest passes in Vietnam. You will have time to take photos of Tu San Deep and Nho Que River. Then reach to Meo Vac for lunch and have a short rest. In the afternoon, travel to Bac Quang and check-in a homestay of Tay ethnic people.
Day 4: Bac Quang – Quang Binh – Xin Man – Hoang Su Phi (B, L, D)
In the morning, visit the villages of Tay and Dzao ethnic peoples before reaching Wind Pass and Fairy Stream and Nam Dan ancient rocks. After lunch, visit Hoang Su Phi with stunning rice terraces and interact with local farmers. Dinner and overnight at a homestay in the village of La Chai people.
Day 5: Hoang Su Phi – Bac Quang – Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, pack your luggage and transfer back to Hanoi (Lunch at Bac Quang). Trip ends. See you again in the next Vietnam vacation packages.
