The Red Bridge Restaurant & Cooking School offers a daily, half-day cooking tour that introduces visitors to Vietnamese cuisine. Suitable for all travelers, the tour is a fun and interesting way to learn about local food. The program could be run from 2 learners. This tour gives you a hands-on lesson on how to shop and cook authentic Vietnamese food.

Met up at Hai Scout Café at 98, Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, enjoy a drink for a short time then we visit Hoi An colorful market to experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. You will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.
Board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view the local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.
On arrival, explore the cooking school’s herb and vegetable garden before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge chefs before preparing the same dish yourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, sit down and eat exactly what you have cooked.

* Lunch includes the above meals as well as:
Steamed Ocean Fish on a bed of Freshly Chopped Vegetables (not included in the demonstration)

Finish at approximately 1 pm – transfer back to central Hoi An.
