FULL ITINERARY
Day 1: Halong Bay Cruise from Cai Lan to Hanoi (4 hours)
Your driver will transport you to the Bai Chay Pier in Halong Bay after departing from Cai Lan Port. Arrive at your cozy private junk to check in and start your thrilling 3-hour cruise around Halong Bay (the trip may be longer based on time constraints). Visit Thien Cung - Heaven Cave for breathtaking grotto views. After that, enjoy your drinks while taking in the magnificent view of the natural wonder as you cruise around a number of islets with names based on their shapes, such as Dog, Incense, and Fighting Cock. Take a 3.5-hour drive to Ha Noi for overnight lodging once the ferry returns to Bai Chay port.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour – Cai Lan Port Departure (B, L)
Visit the renowned Nguyen Art Gallery first thing in the morning. It is home to several high-caliber, original paintings and sculptures. The Gallery wants to exhibit high-quality artwork, especially those from Vietnam. The gallery specializes in works by up-and-coming artists. We are both having Vietnamese tea or coffee as we unwind in a lovely gallery environment while admiring the artwork. In the Café Lounge, where you may converse with the proprietor while sipping Vietnamese coffee, you can see the morning-visited Temple of Literature. Then go to the Temple of Literature, which was once a Confucius Temple. We'll then drive to the magnificent Museum of Ethnology, which is regarded as the best in the nation and features a sizable exhibition honoring Vietnam's 54 ethnic minority groups.
Visit the well-known Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple after lunch in the city's center, then board a cyclo for a one-hour ride through the Old Quarter's French-inspired architecture. Browse for great deals on practically anything while strolling through the Old Quarter's winding lanes, from little shops selling trinkets to galleries featuring contemporary art. Join the crowd for an exciting hour-long water puppet show if time allows. Return to Cai Lan Port by 4 PM to make it in time for your cruise's departure. Tour ends.
