FULL ITINERARY
Your shore trip to Hanoi will begin when Viet Vision Travel's local guide and driver pick you up at the port in Halong City in the morning. On the way there, you'll enjoy a beautiful drive. Drive through rice fields, lush farmland, and peaceful cities as you approach the bustling yet historic capital of Hanoi along the Red River Delta.
When you arrive, Mr. Huong, the proprietor of Nguyen Art Gallery and an art collector, will greet you and provide a quick introduction to your tour for the day. The orientation trip then leads you to the Fine Art Museum, which houses a treasure trove of Vietnamese cultural and creative legacy. Mr. Huong will give you an informed account of the painters, their works, and how they create their creations using natural resources. After viewing the old architecture of the earliest university in Vietnam, the Temple of Literature, a neighboring Confucius temple, head to K.O.T.O restaurant for lunch.
It's time for a quick tour of the propaganda studio in the afternoon, where you can see the iconic "Tranh Hang Trong" artwork of Hanoi. Then we went back to the Nguyen Art Gallery to talk with an art collector, examine a fantastic collection of contemporary Vietnamese artworks, and test ourselves with a simple painting exercise.
