Day 1: Yangon Arrival – Syriam (D)
Upon your Yangon arrival, you will meet our guide and driver who will take you to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, visit Syriam (a.k.a Thanlyin) to see Kyaik Khauk pagoda which is said to enshrine the hairpiece of the Buddha. Journey southeast to reach Ye Le Paya, the splendid floating temple located on an island for not only sightseeing but also feeding schools of fish around the temple. Overnight in Yangon
Day 2: Yangon – Bagan (B, L)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Bagan to explore the mystical land of over 2000 temples. Begin the Bagan first day trip at Nyaung U Market to participate in the vibrant trading of local people. Embark in a Bagan temple tour to set foot in the magnificent pagodas in town such as Shwezigon, Ananda, Htilomino, Thatbynyu to unlock the hidden gems of these Burmese masterpieces.
Before the sun goes down, travel to Shwesandaw Pagoda, the highest pagoda in Bagan to watch the sunset. It is such a wonderful moment that you should never miss while visiting Bagan. Overnight in Bagan
Day 3: Bagan Countryside Journey (B, L, D)
Get ready for an energetic day of exploring the rustic countryside of Bagan. After breakfast, you will be taken to have a close interaction with the locals and see their daily life. Then you will have two options for this morning.
Option 1: Countryside Journey by Bike
The flat terrain of Bagan is completely ideal for a cycling tour. Pedal along snaking roads and stop at any destinations to sightsee and take the best pictures.
Option 2: Exotic Journey by Pony Ride
Throughout history, horse carts have been playing a vital role in the life of Burmese people. Get on a Pony cart and you will feel a distinctive view of Bagan at some attractions that cars can not access to.
In the afternoon, hop on a luxury cruise ship downstream Irrawaddy River to Shwezigon pagoda. Enjoy a drink on the sundeck and capture one of the most charming sunsets all over the world and the image of local people living along the riverside. Overnight in Bagan
Day 4: Bagan – Inle Lake – Red Mountain (B, L)
Wake up early this morning to take a domestic flight to Inle Lake. After check-in at hotel, spend the first moment at Inle Lake to visit the morning market in Nyaung Shwe for a glimpse of the local life and witnessing Buddhist nuns who just returned from their morning alms. Travel to the east shore of the lake to discover a village of Pa-Oh people where you will find out a lot of ancient people with various shapes and sizes.
In the afternoon, climb up the Red Mountain Estate to see the long-standing wine factory in Myanmar. You also have a chance to taste the best wine at a local restaurant owning panoramic views of this land at the top of the mountain. Overnight in Inle Lake
Day 5: Inle Lake – Indein (B, L)
Today, continue your exploration with a fine boat trip around Inle Lake. Stop at Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the most attractive sites in Shan State. The boat will take you through unique floating gardens, monasteries, and houses where you should spend time visiting local handicraft workshops, traditional blacksmith, silk weaving, and wooden handlooms. Afterward, move to the village of Intha and Pa-Oh people to meet and talk to long neck women. You can learn more about their unique tradition as well as elaborate weaving.
On returning to Inle Lake, it is a good time to take the astonishing photos of the iconic beauty at Inle Lake – the leg-rowing fishermen whose fishing method is using one leg to balance their body on the boat while the other one is used to keep an oar. Overnight in Inle Lake
Day 6: Inle Lake – Yangon (B)
Farewell Inle Lake this morning and fly back to Yangon. Upon arrival, visit Bogyoke Market, the biggest traditional market in town which is teeming with souvenirs, gems, jewelry, clothing, and foods.
Then travel to St. Mary Cathedral for short sightseeing before entering the ancient Sule Pagoda aging more than 2,500 years as well as Chinatown and Little India to immerse in the exciting atmosphere of the locals and street vendors. Overnight in Yangon
Day 7: Yangon Departure (B)
