Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Welcome to Hanoi! Your days in Vietnam have begun! You would be welcomed by our guide and quickly transfer to the hotel in the city center. Just complete check-in and enjoy the rest of the day free of activities, which is a good start for you to get familiar with the city and also partly discover it by your own way.
Day 2: Hanoi
Have breakfast at the hotel, about 8AM, the city tour will start with a visit to Ho Chi Minh Complex, an important historical sites in Hanoi. The first destination is Ba Dinh Square where in 1945, Ho Chi Minh has spoken out the declaration of Vietnam’s Independence. Then, we will follow the guide to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which is about his life and Vietnam War before taking a look at decent Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the guards protect 24/24 hours. This trip will not be complete without a short walk to Presidential Area to get a glimpse of luxurious Presidential Palace, simple Uncle Ho’s Stilt House (which was built based on a traditional house of ethnic group).
Nearby, there are also two other religious sites: One Pillar Pagoda where locals come and pray for their children and Temple of Literature. This temple has a long history, over 1000 years old. With Confucianism philosophy, Temple of Literature praises the importance of education and examination. The whole area with 5 courtyards and garden is totally different from the rest of the city, which gives you peace and quietness in your soul. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in Hanoi.
In the afternoon, we head to Hoa Lo Prision, the famous prison during French War with many severe punishments. Many Vietnamese political prisoners have been immured and tortured by French guards. During American War, this prison was known under the names “Hanoi Hilton” with many American Pilots.
Then it’s time for a cyclo tour back to Hanoi Old Quarter to see 36 old streets, whose names are represented for their specialized product such as: Hang Bac (Silver Street) sells silver, jewels, Hang Duong (Sugar Street), etc. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh – Van Long Nature Reserve
The morning would be spent on the car heading to Ninh Binh. During the way, there are several breath-taking landscapes, peaceful paddy fields, impressive mountains. Please memorize all natural scenes while enjoy Vietnamese tasty authentic Banh Mi. Van Long Nature Reserve is one among many Kong: Skull Island movie’s film setting. The land with various creatures, flora and fauna would be an ideal place for photos and relaxing. Especially, boating on Van Long Lagoon, one of the filming setting, would be an unforgettable experiences in your life. Overnight in Emeranda Resort Ninh Binh.
Day 4: Ninh Binh – Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight Cruise
Departing from Ninh Binh, we are back in Hanoi and heading for Halong Bay’s night cruise by a private seaplane. Halong Bay, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites will impress you right away with amazing water, thousands of sculpt limestone. You will pass through lively Mat Quy and Am Islet and then have a lunch buffet on the boat.
In the afternoon, we head to Tien Ong Cave, one of the oldest caves in the bay, which has been form from limestone karst about 700,000 years ago. Afterwards, the next destination is Cua Van Fishing Village, you will have a chance to witness the daily of locals who live in floating house with floating school. Then, we can join in the cooking class and help our skillful chef one’s hand while learn about Vietnamese Cuisine. Just freely take part in interesting activities on boat in the evening or take time at your leisure. Overnight Cruise.
Day 5: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi
Let’s get up early for a Tai Chi morning exercises! Or you can make the most of scenic landscape around. Here comes a morning bath in the bay. The boats will bring us to an untouched beach with white sand and crystal-clear water. The hill top is waiting for you to conquer! Next, let’s get back to Halong City and explore Ti Top Island, Tam Cung Cave and Poem Mountain. A lunch brunch would be served before we return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi – Flight to Dong Hoi, Quang Binh – Phong Nha
Check out the hotel, after 2 hour on the plane, we will arrive at Dong Hoi, Quang Binh Province to visit Phong Nha, World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESSCO. In the most well-preserved remote and mountainous region, well-known Paradise Cave (Thien Duong Cave) is our next destination. You will definitely be amazed by many stalactite groups resembling Buddha statues, some of them are even over 1 meter. After returning to the hotel the rest of the day is yours at leisure. Day 7: Quang Binh
Today, we will discover a fairy land in Quang Binh, Nuoc Mooc Stream with beautiful scenery and so many exciting activities. In the summer, this area is much cooler than the other, is where you can fresh up and wipe of all the heat. Moreover, kayaking around to see the beauty of nature and cooling in the stream are things that you can’t miss. The whole day will be spent in camping and sporty activities to improve your strength.
Day 8: Quang Binh – Saigon – Vespa Tour
A short flight from Dong Hoi to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh), our guide will take you to the hotel for check-in first and then we will have a look around Saigon. The first destination is Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, the two prominent buildings presenting Ho Chi Minh City. Here, you’ll impressed by French Architecture and get a sense of Saigon. Next, we will move to Binh Tay Market, a crowded Chinatown in the center of Saigon and the last one is Thien Hau Pagoda where you gain back peace after several busy day.
In the evening, like how King Kong 2 team did in Saigon, a Vespa Tour to discover around the city will be provided. On a Vespa, we will see Saigon’s nightlife which somehow is more bustling than Hanoi, try Saigon special Banh Xeo and maybe get a bottle of Saigon Beer. Enjoy the night life and take your time. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 9: Saigon Free Day
Today is at your leisure. Let’s go out and do some shopping for souvenirs as presents to bring back home. A massage maybe good for your feet or just have a seat on the street and enjoy a glass of Vietnamese Iced Milk Coffee. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 10: Departure
Our guide will take you to the airport. Hope you enjoy your time in Vietnam. Tour ends.
