North Vietnam 5-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival - Trishaw Tour - Night Train to Sapa (D)
Your arrival will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide and driver then transfer to the hotel. After a short rest, enjoy a 1-hour cyclo tour around the Old Quarter of 36 streets. You are free for shopping in the old quarter ranging from markets, and designer boutique stores to amazing contemporary art galleries.
Move to a local theater than to enjoy an outstanding performance of the city’s famous Water Puppet Show. Have dinner and leisure until transferring to the train station for the night train to Sapa. Overnight on the train.
Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa Village Trekking (B, L)
The train arrives at Lao Cai train station which is far from Sapa town about 40km. Have breakfast before devoting yourself to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sa Pa valley. Start by path descending in the wake of the Cau May street (6 km). Along the route, admire rice terraces hidden behind a thin mist of the morning, which is such a truly awe-inspiring sight. Follow a small track to cross Muong Hoa River to reach the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Continuing through the colorful rice terraces you will reach the village of Ta Van. Continue your trekking along the Muong Hoa River to cross a small suspension bridge where you can discover a fascinating collection of rock carvings. We lunch in a home in the village.
After lunch, the Sapa trekking tour continues through a bamboo forest to reach Giang Ta Chai, a village of the Red Dao ethnic group. Take a rest at a waterfall nearby to refresh the climbing uphill to a road where the vehicle is ready to bring you back to Sapa. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 Sapa - Fansipan Peak - Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, we will visit Fansipan Summit – which is considered ‘The Roof of Indochina’ and is 3143 meters high. Normally, it takes at least two or three days to reach the Peak of Fansipan Mountain on foot. However, with the newly three-rope cable car system, we can see the peak and spectacular surroundings from the peak within half a day. It takes the cable car 20 minutes to ride up to the top. After visiting Fansipan Peak, we will be back in the town center and have lunch.
Return to Hanoi by sharing Limousine Van. Drop off at a hotel in Hanoi.
Day 4 Hanoi - Halong with Cruise (B, L, D)
Pick up at the hotel in Hanoi, we start our journey to discover Halong Bay – The Pearl of the Orient, one of the most famous tourist destinations of Vietnam. Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina at around mid-day, we check in the cabin before starting lunch on the boat.
In the afternoon, begin the journey of the ship is Tung Sau Pearl Farm, one of the famous pearl breeding in Halong Bay. We will have an experience with handmade techniques in the process of culturing pearls based on Japanese technology. This is also an ideal destination for kayaking. Unless it takes your fancy, stay on the board and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea. The next destination is Sung Sot Cave (Amazing Cave) – the largest cave in Ha Long Bay with millions of years of formation. Dinner in the restaurant followed free time to enjoy music at Le Piano Bar or relax on deck. We spend the first night on the bay.
Day 5 Halong Bay - Hanoi - Fly to Hue (B, L)
Start your second day on the right way with a relaxing Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the sun rises, followed by a light breakfast. We then transfer to the tender and head to Titop Island, which has the most beautiful panoramic views in the bay. This activity includes swimming time in the area or hiking to the peak for a panoramic view. After that, we go back to our cruise for a proper breakfast while passing Thien Cung, Dau Go Caves, and the Fighting Cocks Islet.
After disembarking from the Paradise Elegance, a light lunch at the Paradise Lounge is served while waiting for the Paradise shuttle bus. Back to Hanoi at noon and the trip ends at the hotel where our driver and guide are ready here & transfer you to the airport to take a flight to Hue. Arrive in Hue, pick up & transfer to hotel for overnight.
Central Vietnam 3-Day Itinerary
Day 6 Hue City Tour (B, L)
Pick up at the hotel at 8:30 AM, we will board the Dragon Boat on the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. Used to be the ancient capital of Vietnam, Hue is impressed with ancient tombs of Nguyen Emperors, and the charming Pagoda to enjoy a great view of the Perfume River and surrounding sceneries. The pagoda is considered the symbol of both Hue and Vietnamese Buddhism. From here, we rejoin our van and go visit King Khai Dinh's Tomb and King Tu Duc's Tomb.
In the afternoon, explore the Imperial Citadel and the working and lives of royal families between 1802 and 1945. We will then depart to the Hue Royal Fine Art Museum, the former Royal Palace of Dien Long An. Finish our day with the local Dong Ba Market to see the daily life of local people. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7 Hue - Drive to Hoi An (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel, move to Hoi An along scenic highway 1A with a stop at Lang Co beach for relaxation. On arrival in Danang, we will have a brief visit to Cham Museum – the house of the most complete collection if Cham Artifacts anywhere in the world; China Beach and the Marble Mountain including five elements of the Universe which are water, air, fire, worth and earth.
Hoi An arrival in the afternoon. The rest of the day will be free for strolling in the town, lazing on the beach, or whatever takes your fancy. We’ll spend the night in Hoi An.
Day 8 Hoi An Day Tour (B)
Hoi An Ancient town has been recognized as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO since 1999 thanks to its value. This place is complex in acculturation. The architecture of the town reflects the influence of Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, French, and British traders. It used to be a trading port in the 17th & 18th centuries where the trading cruise ships from Japan, China & the west met and exchanged goods. Hoi An nowadays is one of the most attractive places in Vietnam and with a half-day walking around, visitors will immediately feel the hospitality and friendship the locals extend to them.
Met up by our local tour guide in the morning then we transfer/walk down to downtown for our walking tour. Start our Hoi An walking tour to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky's old house, the Pottery Museum, the silk street of Hoi An, the Cantonese congregation as well as the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. In the afternoon is your leisure time at Cua Dai beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
South Vietnam 6-Day Itinerary
Day 9 Hoian - Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast, we will be free until your driver arrives to take you to the airport for your departure flight to Ho Chi Minh City. (midafternoon flight) On arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City, we will be greeted and driven to our hotel in the city center. After check-in, we will be free to wander around the hustle and bustle city and spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B, L)
At 08:00 am, we transfer to Cai Be for our visit to the floating market and island. The itinerary will begin with a visit to Cai Be colorful floating market among a ton of local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where we can see how rice paste, coconut candy, and pop-rice, popcorn are made. The rowing boat will bring us a closer look at the countryside downstream of small canals on small sampans. It is such an unforgettable memory to touch traditional natural houses of wood and palm tree leaves and see the work of the local farmers with an opportunity to try catching fish.
Lunch will be served at a local home. In the afternoon, walk around orchards and then enjoy some kinds of fresh tropical fruits together with listening to traditional music. After that, experience an amazing Mekong Delta cycling tour on village paths to see the immense rice fields, traditional houses, and ancestral ways to pick up the fruits of local people. The journey ends at Vinh Long city and then returns to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi Tunnels & City Tour (B, L)
Morning, we head to the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". Before getting inside the tunnels, see a short video showing how Cu Chi tunnels were constructed. Also on display are a lot of old mantraps which are harmless now and the remain of an American tank, as well as a large number of bomb craters, dropped by B52 bombers. Return to Saigon for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace, and War Remnant Museum, where we can see numerous photographs, artifacts, and pictures documenting the Vietnam War. Stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to take wonderful photos for our journey to the most vibrant city of Vietnam. For the rest of the day, stroll around Ben Thanh market for shopping and street foods then get back to the hotel at around 18:00.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City- Drive to Mui Ne (B)
After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Mui Ne in about 5-hour driving. Check-in resort and leisure time then. Overnight at a hotel in Mui Ne.
Day 13: Mui Ne Leisure Day (B)
The day will be free for lazing on the beach, or whatever takes your fancy. Overnight in Mui Ne
Day 14: Mui Ne - Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
